Project Description
ESI Electrical is performing electrical upgrades at the historic Cincinnati Union Terminal, updating thousands of feet of conduit and upgrading hundreds of lighting fixtures, including lighting in the 106-foot-high dome ceiling and the 30-foot clock on the face of the building.
This $212 million renovation also includes repairing and cleaning exterior walls, restoring windows, replacing the roof and upgrading electrical and plumbing systems. The 500,000+-square-foot building was constructed from 1929 to 1933 at the start of the Great Depression. Today, the national historic landmark is home to a museum, library and theater, while still serving as an Amtrak station.
